What sort of benefit to society is it for 99% of the wealth in America to be concentrated in the hands of 1%?

i mean what good is it to have more money than your children will ever spend in their lifetimes? what benefit does it provide to society to keep waiting for handouts from these people? i hear people all the time throw sarcastic remarks like "well its so bad for working men to be successful" but the truth is these are not working men these are men who have sat at the top for years, a very small percentage have ever made it there by hard work most of them are riding it out off of ancestors who accumulated that wealth. the truth is, working men are usually in the lowest class always thinking they can struggle their way out of that hole working themselves to death trying to become that top class, while those with private jets complain about how the economy is uncertain...while they are the ones making it uncertain... im really failing to see the necessity of compiling all of our wealth in a few hands, in fact i think it would be better suited spread out among everyone... call me a socialist or whatever you want, but it would be better for everyone...
