Powerpoint help please?

I am very good at working powerpoint but I have ran into a problem with the 08 edition. I bring my laptop to class and I type notes under the slides. I know I am able to print the notes out if I print one per page, but I want to be able to print a handout with 6 slides per page with my typed notes under the slide. I have already tried to send it to word but the notes didn't come attached with it. Can anyone help please?
