If the US does not support Socialism and government control. why don't we get rid of holloween and handouts?

No socialist government has EVER put its citizens first. The proof of that statement is simple to find. Look through the bank accounts and homes of the ruling class, and then go look at the average citizen's bank account and home. In Socialist countries, if you aren't in the ruling class, you are not much better than a serf. Of course, other governments are not much better, but they are better.
