Future 8th graders want to take SHSAT?

Ok im a 7th grader for the next 2 weeks. I just received the high school directory book... I am planning to take the specializing test and i want to go to Stuyvesant ( almost half the ppl taking it share my goals lol) So i did some test prep at the library on the specializing high school handout, i finished part a on english and math. I got about 6 wrong on the english and on the math i got 7 wrong. =_=" i was wondering if the test compares to the handout and is the official one a lot more difficult >:O and the cut off? also how difficult is school life in stuy? o-o
